Dan is a CPA with 30+ years of experience in the Insurance industry, including MGA, Direct Writer, Reinsurer, Independent Agency, and Systems Consulting. Dan has worked in Public Accounting, Private Industry, and Consulting in a number of other industries, including Retail, Wholesale, Energy, and Maritime. Prior to joining Evolve, Dan was CFO for Costello and Sons, a premier Marsh Berry Independent Broker, and is a founding member of Evolve. Dan authored a chapter “What Do You Do When You Have a Systems Conversion, …and Cannot Afford a CFO?”, in the book Tips from Top Financial Officers, published by Exec-U-Sense, and offered through Amazon. Dan is an Adjunct Faculty at Dominican University of California, and has taught at other Universities, both in class and online. Dan plays trumpet in the Marin Community Band, which just celebrated its 60th anniversary, and is an avid amateur photographer specializing in waterfalls, fireworks, and specialty shots!!
